The rooms at Hotel Dar Dhiafa are simply enchanting. Each room has its own unique charm and evokes the atmosphere of a thousand and one nights. I stayed in a room with a stunning view of the pool, and the king-size bed made me feel like royalty. The air-conditioning kept me cool during the day, and the free wireless internet was a bonus.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the separate bathrooms in the rooms. But hey, that's just my opinion.

We were greeted with a warm welcome and a refreshing homemade drink upon arrival. The hotel is beautifully designed, with moorish-inspired architecture and authentic courtyards. The food at the restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed the romantic ambiance created by the candles. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a unique stone bath/shower. The hotel provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, away from the tourist crowds. I highly recommend Dar Dhiafa for a memorable stay.

Fine hotel in a very nice setting away from the hussle of the tourist resorts. Nice food - however quite expensive, good service and an inhouse hammam to top it off.

Very different style of hotel, atmospheric and fantastic use of the old buildings in shaping the rooms and the courtyards. Staff were very helpful. A very relaxing place to stay.
Located in a village with little but the hotel to recommend it, but taxis are plentiful and very cheap. Food is not the hotel's strong point; breakfasts are fine if a bit pricey - dinner is very hit or miss and very expensive for fairly small portions. The wine list is limited and the wines incredibly expensive.

Surely the best hotel in all of Tunisia! Wonderfully comfortable with great attention to detail and interior design. Friendly staff and an oasis of tranquility. Stayed for 3 nights which was just the right amount of time to see the island as well as relaxing in the lovely secluded courtyards by the pools. Definitely a place for a romantic break.

This hotel is full of lovely surprises! The antique cabinets in rooms add charming touches that make each stay unique. The private balcony is another great perk, providing a perfect spot for some downtime. The hotel's location in the centre of the island is perfect for sightseeing! Affordable prices and attentive staff make all the difference. Bonus: the attention to detail everywhere, from basic amenities to breakfast served with a smile.
None of the negative aspects mentioned in previous reviews seem to apply to this hotel.

The peace and quiet in a traditional, historical building, set in a wonderful village. The friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful food.
The bathroom in our room needs updating.

The king-size beds with wrought iron frames or doukana under a cupola are absolutely enchanting. Each room has its own unique charm, transporting you to the exotic world of a thousand and one nights. Plus, the private bathrooms are equipped with either a bath or shower, perfect for a relaxing stay.
Personally, I found the separate bathrooms in the 10 rooms and 4 suites a bit inconvenient. But hey, different strokes for different folks!

This hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was exceptional, offering a unique and charming experience without the hefty price tag. Secondly, the attention to detail was evident throughout, with charming touches such as antique cabinets and beautiful bougainvillea plants in the courtyards. Lastly, the location in the center of the island was perfect for exploring all that Djerba has to offer, including the local market, mosque, and museum.
All was just as expected, no improvements needed.

Dar Dhiafa is an oasis in the dusty island of Djerba. Walled gardens and pretty courtyards make it a perfect place to unwind. The food is brilliant and the spread at the buffet breakfast is worth getting out of bed for. Tunisian fixtures and fittings are stunning - it is an interior designer's dream.
We were very lucky and got an upgrade. Some of the rooms feel a little confined, with one small window. If you're coming to lock yourselves into a capsule with the intention of unwinding and not stepping out the front door this is perfect. Otherwise, taking 25 minutes taxis to get to the beach may not be your cup of tea. Also sleeplovers should watch out for the 5am call to prayer which is nearby and rather loud.

Beautiful hotel, charming, staff is really great they prepared a beautiful table for my sister's birthday with fresh flowers. We were upgraded to suites instead of double rooms.
Food is good but in general in Tunisia it is not really awesome.

This charming boutique hotel is located in a tranquil town near a famous synagogue, and away from the touristy areas and city life. The rooms are beautifully designed with attention to detail, and come with a small lounge area and a stunning bathroom. The staff are warm and welcoming, making you feel at home. Dining in the restaurant is an amazing experience with tasty local specialties, served in a candle-lit setting. There are wonderful facilities, including outdoor seating areas and a pool perfect for relaxing.
One aspect could be improved, such as having wifi access available in the room.
